...

It's nice to pull out the lappy at the end of the day, after baby is in bed and just write out my thoughts. With a glass of wine, or a nice cold beer :) Tonight is a wine kind of night :)

Which after writing that sentence, I don't seem to have a lot of? (thoughts) lol I guess this will be one messy jibberish blog. Jared and I had a pretty eventful weekend (at least I think so hehe). Friday night we had family night (like usual), ate delicious Papa John's pizza, and watched the most recent Bourne movie. Which 4 out of 6of us had watched already lol. Poor Reiner was getting sleepy by the end, and consequently cranky (don't worry- I don't let him watch tv if I can help it). I took him downstairs near the end to calm him and put him to sleep. He usually goes down around 11:30 or so? But I think it might have been a little closer to midnight or so.

Saturday night, Jared and I went to see ZERO DARK THIRTY with some gift cards we got from Eden and Ed for the movie theater. It was a long movie- but really interesting. It's the first time Jared and I have gone to the movies since Reiner was born, we used to go every Tuesday (I'm hoping we can start going on Tuesday nights again- Half price movies where we live!). Jared and I really are movie people. We spend a lot of time watching movies, and tv series. No wonder we miss Laura and Josh so much! (They were our movie buddies- especially if the movies were scary, or totally ridiculous). I have a current (shameful) addiction to Pretty Little Liars, I watched a season and a half, in about 3-4 days :S. It's something that I watch if Jared is out, or already asleep- because I don't want to watch something that he would be interested in. I ran into that when I started watching Game of Thrones lol. I didn't think he would care to watch it, and he came home one day and watched the rest of an episode with me. He was hooked lol, and we had to start over from the beginning (luckily I was only three or four episodes in).

This morning, after Jared brought Reiner back downstairs to eat, he made us breakfast! Homemade "mcmuffins", so delicious! I think they are the current breakfast favourite around here! Willi started making them for us a little before Christmas.

Annnnnyyyywayyyy... It's after 1 am, and I don't want to push my luck too much! I should really get some sleep before Reiner wakes up (because you'll never know what time that will be at this point! hehe)

  1. 4 months is when we started letting Evelyn cry it out for like half an hour(and probably sometimes a little longer)at bedtime and when she'd wake up in the night. It's hard at first (especially on Mommy -try pillow over your head or take a shower or something to distract you). If you're not comfortable doing it, then don't, but it worked really well for us, and she would sleep longer that way. Hope you all start getting more sleep!
