Twelfth Week!

This past weekend we went to Jared's work party, and I visited my lovely friend, Katie! Toyota had their usual work Christmas gathering at the Best Western, and then one of the guys had a party after. Jared's parents babysat that night, and we got to have some fun :) Kinda nice two weekends in a row?

Sunday, Reiner and I met Katie at Montana's for appetizers, and dessert! It was so good- although I think Moose Winooski's has them beat for spinach dip ;) We also got the sticky toffee pudding- one of my favourite desserts ever, it's sooo delicious :)

Jared worked a lot of overtime this week, so I cooked on Monday night. Made my own recipe for pork chops! Granny Smith Apples, ginger, cinnamon, brown sugar, and buttery goodness :) Something I came up with when we had our own place :) mmm

Wednesday was a much needed girl date with Aubs, and Otis :) I really missed her last week! Afterwards, we went to visit Grandma! (my dad was at work), and spent the rest of the afternoon drinking tea, eating mince meat tarts, and chatting away :)

Wednesday night was HORRIBLE though, (lately Reiner has been sleeping at least 6-8 hours through the night) he had barely slept at all through the day- so I knew he wasn't going to go down like normal because he was so beyond tired. He ended up falling asleep around 12 which was pretty normal, but he woke up at 2:30 am and he'd managed to leak out the side of his diaper and his poor led was all wet. I changed him, tried feeding him again, but he wasn't really hungry. He just kept rooting for it, and then crying and letting go. He'd drift off, and then I'd try to lay him down- but he'd insantly wake up. This carried on until a little after 5 am, when he finally conked out hard and I could move him to his bed. Jared ended up sleeping on the couch (he had to be up at 7). Then he woke up around 9 in the morning. Needless to say, I am SO tired writing this right now! (Playing Thursday night catch-up).
