Tenth Week :)

     Saturday was the family Advent dinner on Jared's Mom's side :) ... It was such a nice night to hang out with family- the food was delicious too! I contributed a little bit, made my favourite green beans- blanched, fried with butter, fresh ginger, and brown sugar (so delicious!). I also made sweet potatoes (the way my mom makes them- with orange juice, brown sugar, and butter... and then marshmallows on top under the broiler). Every one got to meet Reiner (and of course fell in love with him!)

     Sunday afternoon, Rachel and Brian, Freya, Jared and I, and Reiner all went on a nature expedition. It was like 14 degrees C outside- a little misty, but warm enough that that didn't matter! Reiner stayed nice and warm in his Baby Bjorn "bag", it's this neat cover that goes around the baby while they're in the carrier, and it's water resistent and keeps him nice and toasty!

     We went looking in search of sticks/branches, that could be used as bows! We then spent the rest of the afternoon/evening carving our bows :) I haven't shot mine yet, it still needs some work... Jared broke his... his need LOTS of work hehehe. It was such a fun day trekking through a forest, Freya has the time of her life whenever she gets to run off leash (there's no roads nearby, and she never goes too far).

     Tiffany and I went to get our hair cut on Monday :) ... It's so nice to be able to leave a hair appointment happy, and not regretting what you did to your precious locks! That's how I feel about my hair at least! I took about 2 inches off I think, I want it to get longer again- but I can't stand when the ends look scraggly. What's the point of long hair if it doesn't look nice right? I got just enough taken off, that it looks a little thicker :) Yay! Shelbie also got to meet Reiner (who decided that it was an opportune time to have a nice blow out lol silly kid!). It was my night to cook, I made a pot roast! Cooked to perfection if I do say so myself :)

     Reiner and I had a pretty lazy Tuesday, mostly just watched tv... and lounged around. That evening, Reiner and I went to my parents' house... toooo....... Decorate the CHRISTMAS TREE! YAY! Tiffany and I always put the tree up together :) (Wouldn't have it any other way!) We also had some yummy tea, and watched some LPBW :)

     Wednesday was coffee day with Auburn and Otis! :) I always look forward to Wednesdays, it makes the week feel nice when you have friends that you see all the time :) There's also a lady at Williams that loves to see the babies each week... she thinks they're just so adorable :) (and of course they are! hehe). Reiner and I also met Jared for lunch before we met up with Aubs and Otis, chicken parm sandwiches mmmmmm :)

     Reiner and I met up with eden for her break on Thursday :), but an hour just isn't long enough! We had yummy Wendy's! After that, Reiner and I took a quick zip by Walmart,,, and headed home. Jared cooked dinner :) He made is own rendition of meatloaf (It was delicious!)

     Today was another fairly lazy day for us... woke up late, had some cuddly couch time :) We had family night, chinese for dinner (YUMMY), and watched MIB3. It was funny! After Reiner was asleep- I had to pack up EVERYTHING for Saturday night. Jared and I have a wedding to go to, and my parents/sister are babysitting :)
