Today was a nice day for Jared and me :) We both had long weekends because of New Year's. It was so nice and relaxing not to have to go anywhere! We watched a few movies, drank some wine, and ate some hors d'ouvres (sp?) that we didn't end up baking for New Year's :)
We watched SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD first today. It was such a weird movie... even weirder that it was set in Toronto. It wasn't my favourite movie by any means, but there were quite a few funny parts. I think I'm just not a big gamer to enjoy more of the videogame style of the movie?
The second movie we watched was BRIDESMAIDS, which sort of left me on the fence? I thought the story was cute, but the bickering between the two girls was just too "Penelope" for me (Penelope is a SNL character that the one girl plays- on Saturday Night Live). I always enjoy the skits that she does, but the way the girls in the movie are trying to one up each other... it just sort of irritated me.
Third, we watched BAD TEACHER, which I really enjoyed! It was funny, the characters were funny. Jared and I watch a lot of How I Met Your Mother, and we're big fans of the guy who plays "Marshall"(I should also know his real name by now... but I never pay attention to the credits).
Anywho... I have to work in the morning... so off to bed I go :)

Jason Segel is Marshall :) We liked Bad Teacher, and were meh about Bridesmaids too... weird that everyone else in the world loved it. Miss watching Penelope and other sketches with you! xoxo
