Hey everyone :) Hope you're all doing well!
Today I welcomed the start week 15! It's also the first day in over a month that I haven't taken diclectin the night before- and NOT BEEN SICK- WOAH! I'm hoping this means I've kicked the sickness, and now I can sit back and enjoy the next few months! :) Also it's neat that I have a little bump started!
I'm happy to announce that in the last week, the breakouts have calmed down a ton! My chest and my cheeks (the ones on my face!) had been breaking out pretty much since the beginning. But the last few days I've noticed that my skin is really clearing up- YAY!
So far week 15 has had a great start! I still can't believe that the babe is the size of a navel orange! It's also crazy to think that I'm 15 weeks along already, mind blown! I'm still waiting for an appointment with an OB- I'm on a couple of waiting lists. So we shall see who I end up with. This was one thing I was nervous about! I wasn't sure at first if I was allowed to pick, or if you just had to go to who your doctor recommended. Just in case I had gone online and searched for doctors in my city, and reviews- many many reviews lol. I ended up narrowing it down to two ladies who were rated the best from moms who'd had them in the past. My doctor said they'd send my paper work to both, as I didn't have a preference between the two- both had many wonderful things said about them.
Jared and I are still batting back and forth whether or not to find out what this precious little person is! I really want to find out- I'm just too curious! Jared's on the fence, but he said I could find out if I want (I'll just have to be super good at keeping a secret haha). Some people say that it ruins the surprise- but I feel like whether I know or not won't matter once they're in my arms! It'll be so incredibly exciting even if I do know :) I just want to be able to plan for girl or boy, whichever it may be!
Photo time!
your baby's the size of a navel orange!
The average fetus at 15 weeks weighs 2.5 ounces and measures 4 inches -- and his proportions are becoming even more normal, since his legs now outmeasure his arms.
- You probably can't feel it yet, but she's squirming a ton!
- She might even be hiccuping in there.
- She's making lots of progress: her joints and limbs can all move now.
