Cars!

     Today was not a good day for our cars! This morning with only minutes before I had to clock in, I climb in my car only to hear the infamous (and never appreciated), "CLICK CLICK CLICK!" of a dead battery. It clearly just wasn't my day... after a few failed attempts to push start (days like this I wish it was the honda- that thing was LIGHT!), I had pushed it around the corner of my parking lot to a neighbouring  strip of townhouses. Unfortunately there had been a previous spat in the summer, and the only people I knew had a car- were ones that had yelled at me for no reason. 


     I really had no choice but to put my best face forward and ask them for a boost. Maybe it was the Christmas season? But they did indeed help me get my car started (thank goodness!)... I found out later on that the alternator in our truck was dead and Jared had boosted it off the car (which apparently had a bad battery), and didn't realize he'd killed it lol. 


     It was a pretty big hit to the paychecks this week, that's for sure- but we did have some gov't checks waiting at home that we didn't know about yet.. so that sort of evened things out a bit? All in all our vehicles are good to go! It just sucks that this had to happen right before Christmas shopping :S
